In August 2018, Ghada moved back to Egypt to join Mars as Corporate Affairs Manager for Egypt and North Africa stepping up their government engagement profile and boosting the company’s external and internal comms.

Randa Fouad, an Artist with a Development background, passionate about Egypt’s wealth of civilizations and cultures that present the Egyptian identity. Ms Fouad graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science. She started her career as a UN Development Communication Expert which enabled her to travel worldwide and discover different cultures.
She also headed The London Times Office as their international correspondent in the Middle East. All these development experiences and backgrounds presented the platform for Randa’s next step.
In 2013 Ms. Fouad decided to make a career shift following her passion for Art. She had 10 Solo Exhibitions and her work is acquisited in several countries in Europe and USA. Ms. Fouad is a visiting professor at both UCLA and Beirut University lecturing on issues related to art and development, advocatng and launching Sustainable Art initiatives, Creative Economy and Green culture. These activities made her the first Sustainable Art Guru in Egypt and the Arab World. She was also awarded in different occasions for merging art with social issues on an international level.

WAFDF is the leading Institution in Egypt the field of Sustainable art, as it has pioneered the integration of sustainability into art and culture, positioning Egypt and the Arab region as leaders in Sustainable Art.

Hala Barakat (BA '98, MA '16, PhD’26) is a seasoned business leader and passionate advocate for entrepreneurship and leadership. With a diverse career spanning banking, hospitality, and manufacturing industry, she has honed her skills in strategy, operations, and finance.
Currently, as the Director of the American University in Cairo's Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (AUC CEI), and Egypt Women on Board Observatory, Hala is dedicated to empowering emerging entrepreneurs, fostering a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem and supporting rising SMEs. She has successfully led initiatives to support youth startups, scale-ups, and women entrepreneurs, securing significant funding and partnerships. She is also leading the Corporate Governance Unit, championing the AUC Egypt Women on Boards Observatory as well as the Family Business Consortium. Hala is a strong advocate for women's economic empowerment and has actively contributed to initiatives promoting gender equality in the workplace.
Prior to her role at AUC CEI, Hala founded and managed Arabiaware, a successful retail, export/import business. She continues her work in business development and management consulting. She sits on the board of a number of Associations and committed to mentoring younger promising generations. She has also held positions at renowned institutions, including the Arab African International Bank and Canwell Canada.
She holds a Master's degree in Economics in International Development from the American University in Cairo and attaining a PhD in Economics from Cairo University.
