She is an ex-pat living in Cairo. Married and have a son and she moved to Cairo nearly 2 years ago as a result of her husband’s job relocation. She an educational consultant and the founder of Excellence in Expat Education.

Her work in education has taken her to many parts of the world, including North America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

She holds an MA in Educational Leadership, and my areas of specialization include teacher training and school leadership. She has conducted training for educators and educational leaders at schools, Ministries of Education, The British Council, and other government agencies. She is a noted speaker who has been invited to deliver workshops on topics such as school leadership, gender-based leadership issues, teaching methodologies and intercultural fluency at various educational conferences. She has lived and worked in 5 countries.

According to various international sources, Cairo is a hub for business start-ups. She has taken full advantage of this opportunity and she is working hard at helping international schools increase their number of students by informing the ex-pat parents of the best schools there are in Cairo and around the world.

On a personal note, she an avid learner and she can speak 5 languages (Arabic would be her 6th).

She has traveled to more than 50 countries and enjoy learning about the local culture wherever she goes. Her favorite place in Egypt is Luxor.

In Cairo, she could spend hours in the National Museum. Cairo is a city full of contrasts, so she tries to visit beyond the ex-pat hubs to get acquainted with the local life. In order to expand her business as well as her personal horizons, she has set up a business networking platform called International Businesswomen’s Network of Cairo, where women of all nationalities can share ideas, give advice, encourage each other in their pursuits for personal or business growth.
