She is currently Deputy Head of Mission and Consul to the Embassy of Malta in Cairo since July 2019.
She was posted to the Permanent Representation of Malta to the EU between 2015 to 2019. As Malta’s Representative to the Nicolaides Group, she was also an active member of the Political and Security Committee, deputizing the PSC Ambassador. During this time, she was assigned lead during Malta’s EU Council Presidency on Human Rights and was appointed to the Mashreq/Maghreb (MaMa) and Middle East and Gulf (MOG) between 2017-2018.
Before joining the corps, in 2011 and between 2013-2014, Jennifer worked at the European Parliament in Brussels both in assistance to a Maltese MEP and within the Secretariat of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats supporting work in DROI, LIBE and the Working Group on Extremism, Populism, Nationalism and Xenophobia
In addition to speaking Maltese and English, at native fluency level, she is fluent in Italian, has a working knowledge of French and basic levels of communication in Danish and Arabic
